Knowledge network

Welcome to SLG’s Knowledge Network

The Knowledge Network provides a resource for all members of SLG and links together:

• the Special Interest Groups (SIGs) that function in each Branch, enabling them to share experience and develop knowledge and best practice
• SLG Specialists who sit on Law Society and other Specialist Committees
• Members interested in particular areas of law

Documentation developed by Members as precedents or examples of best practice can be shared in the Document Library.

The Knowledge Network operates by email and by the use of the Discussion Forum.

The Knowledge Network also enables members to contribute to law reform and development by responding to Consultation Papers.

Members can participate in the Knowledge Network through the main links to the Document Library, Discussion Forum, and Consultations on the left or via the links to individual specialist areas. The specialist areas cover a range of narrower disciplines and interests. Within each area is a list and link to the specific SIGs operating in each Branch.

SLG has also teamed up with Sweet & Maxwell’s online legal information services, Lawtel and Westlaw UK, to provide you with a monthly selection of commentary, articles and a digest of legislation & cases.
