Provisional arrangments have been made for the Branch to hold its Annual Training Day and Annual General Meeting on 6 March 2012. The event will be hosted and sponsored once again by Kings Chambers in Leeds and will be at no cost.

15 Mar 2012 - Northern Branch - Invitation to attend Training Event in Kendal

Northern Branch has once again extended an invitation to Y&H Members to attend a significant training event on 15 March 2012. The first session commencing at 9.30 is on Criminal Proceedures including Magistrates Court, Criminal Proceedure Rules and Crown Court including Higher Rights. The speaker is Simon Mortimer Senior Solicitor (Criminal Litigation) Birmingham City Council

The second session commencing at 2.00 is on Equality Impact Assessments and the speaker of Linda Walker of Dickinson Dees.

Both events take place at Kendal Town Hall. Refreshments will be provided and there is no charge. The event carries 2 CPD pointsfor each session.
