WELCOME to the new Housing & ASB SIG! The first in a series of meetings will commence on Thursday 07th October 2010, details of which are below:

HOT TOPICS: DDA, Equality Act 2010, Possession, Human Rights and “Gateway B”

Speakers are Kelvin Rutledge of 2-3 Gray’s Inn Square Chambers and Stephen Evans of 5 Paper Chambers.
Kelvin represented the London Borough of Hounslow in the ‘Powell’ case in the Court of Appeal this year and is due to represent in the Supreme Court this November on appeal. Kelvin will cover Gateway B, Human Rights and Possession
Stephen represented the London Borough of Lewisham in ‘Malcolm’ and will discuss the Equalities Bill.
